Bridge Inspection, Maintenance, and Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) Services
MISTRAS offers bridge inspection, maintenance, and structural health monitoring (SHM) services for suspension, cable stay, pre-tensioned, post-tensioned, concrete, and steel bridges. Bridge operators can’t afford extended road closures, so MISTRAS uses small, multi-disciplined inspection and maintenance teams to complete work efficiently to minimize downtime.
Our products, systems, and services include multiple non-destructive testing (NDT) inspection technologies to target most major issues related to bridge inspection and monitoring, including strain, vibration, tilt, displacement, and other variables.
MISTRAS’ rope access and diving teams have successfully completed inspection and maintenance projects on many major Canadian bridges. We also deploy unmanned systems for aerial and subsea views of assets in hard-to-reach locations, including piers, abutments, retaining walls, bulkheads, and other subsea assets, to pre-plan inspection and maintenance work before sending manned teams to execute it.

Commercial Building Inspection & Maintenance Services

Our inspection services include radiographic (RT) and ground penetrating radar (GRP) inspection of concrete to provide information guidance to floor coring contractors, and several other forms of non-destructive testing (NDT).
