Confined Space Entry & Monitoring

This course provides candidates an understanding of basic concepts related to confined space entry procedures and rescue.

Course material is delivered through multimedia presentations and written documents. All candidates must successfully complete a written test. A Confined Space Entry & Monitor card will be issued upon completion of the training, valid for two years.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify what is considered a confined space.
  • Understand the procedures and legislation related to confined space.
  • Understand and identify the hazards related to working in a confined space.
  • Understand the protective measures to mitigate those hazards.
  • Understand & identify the basic methodology and equipment of confined space rescue.

Prerequisites

The minimum age requirement is 18 years old. No previous experience is necessary.
